皆様の温かいご支援のおかげで、MRiは今年23周年という大切な節目を迎えることができました。
これまで歩みを共にしてくださったすべての皆様へ、心より感謝申し上げます。
This special newsletter is a heartfelt message from Rikki, reflecting on the journey that has brought us to this milestone and expressing her sincere gratitude to everyone who has been part of it.
Thanks to your continued support, MRi has also been fortunate to celebrate its 23rd anniversary this year.

この特別な節目に、ニュースレターをお読みくださっている皆様へ、心より感謝申し上げます。
リバイタラッシュ コスメティクスの大きなお祝いをこのような形で迎えるのは、2019年にブリンケンホフ博士が来日された時以来のことです。
長くご愛顧くださっている皆様、そして新しく出会ってくださった皆様。本当にありがとうございます。
As we mark this special milestone, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone reading this newsletter.
It has been several years since we last celebrated a major milestone together, and this anniversary has given me a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the journey we have shared.
Whether you have supported us for many years or have only recently discovered us, thank you for being part of this journey.
先月、私はロサンゼルスで開催されたリバイタラッシュ20周年グローバルディストリビューターミーティングに参加してきました。
そこで私は、このブランドの成功だけでなく、世界中で乳がん研究や患者ケアの支援に取り組み続けている姿勢に、深く心を動かされました。
リバイタラッシュについて、私が最も心を動かされ、ずっと特別に感じてきたこと。それは、リバイタラッシュが単なるビジネスとして生まれたものではないということです。
リバイタラッシュは、眼科医であるマイケル・ブリンケンホフ博士が、長く乳がんと闘っていた奥様のゲイルさんに、少しでも自分らしく、前向きな気持ちを取り戻してほしいという想いから生み出したものでした。
その経験を通して博士は、とても大切なことに気づきました。薬だけで人は癒されるわけではないということ。自信、心の力、そして美しさを感じることもまた、癒しの一部なのだということです。
そして医師であった博士にとって、それはそれまで考えたことのなかった視点でした。
Last month, I was in Los Angeles for the RevitaLash 20th Anniversary Global Distributor Meeting, and I came back deeply inspired — not only by the success of the brand, but by its commitment to supporting breast cancer research and patient care around the world.
What moved me most and has always been special to me about this brand is that RevitaLash was never created simply as a business.
It was created by ophthalmologist Dr. Michael Brinkenhoff to help his wife Gayle feel better about herself during her long battle with breast cancer. Through that experience, he realized something very important — that medicine alone cannot heal. A person’s self-confidence, spirit, and sense of beauty are also part of healing. And as a doctor, it was something he had never taken into consideration.
そして不思議なことに、そのすべては“まつげ”という、とても小さな毛に行き着きました。
ゲイルさんのまつげが戻った時、彼女自身の自分を見る目が変わりました。
私自身も、時間をかけてその意味を理解するようになりました。以前の私は、まつげがそれほど大切だとは思っておらず、マスカラさえほとんど使ったことがありませんでした。
けれどある時、スタッフのひとりが、抗がん剤治療前と後の若い女優さんの写真を見せてくれました。その違いは、胸が締めつけられるほどのものでした。
それは、「病気に見える」ことと、「生き生きと、活力に満ちて見える」ことの違いでした。
その瞬間から、私たちが行っていることの心情的な重要性を、私は一度も疑ったことがありません。
目はまさに“心の窓”であり、まつげはその目もとを美しく縁取る、とても大切な存在です。
リバイタラッシュ20周年という節目は、単なるブランドの記念日ではありません。
それは、自信、希望、美しさ、そして人とのつながりをあらためて見つめる機会でもあるのだと思います。
And strangely enough, it all came down to these tiny hairs we call eyelashes.
When Gayle’s lashes returned, it changed how she saw herself.
I understood this myself over time. Years ago, I never even wore mascara because I didn’t think lashes were important. But then one of my staff showed me a photograph of a young actress before and after chemotherapy. The difference was heartbreaking. It was the difference between looking sick and looking vibrant and alive. From that moment on, I never doubted the emotional importance of what we do.
Eyes truly are the windows to the heart, and lashes frame the eyes in such an important way.
As we celebrate this important milestone, I find myself reflecting once again on something much greater than a brand — confidence, hope, beauty, and the meaningful connections we share with one another.

そしてこの節目は、MRi, Inc.の23周年とも重なります。
リバイタラッシュをお祝いするにあたり、MRiの歩みについても、皆様にお伝えしたいと思いました。
なぜなら、このふたつは私の人生の中で、深く結びついているからです。
This milestone also coincides with another very meaningful anniversary — the 23rd Anniversary of MRi.
As I reflect on the story behind RevitaLash, I also wanted to share a little of the journey that has shaped MRi, because these two paths have become deeply connected throughout my life.
23年前、私はアンチエイジングとウェルネスのリサーチをテーマにMRiを立ち上げました。
当時、私はバイオアイデンティカルホルモン療法について学びながら、ひとつのシンプルな問いへの答えを探していました。
年齢を重ねても、どのようにQOL（クオリティ・オブ・ライフ）を保つことができるのだろうか。
私の両親は、二人とも深刻な病気に苦しんでいました。その姿を見てきたことで、私は病気を治療することだけではなく、予防、ウェルネス、そして健康的に年齢を重ねることに焦点をあてたアプローチを、世界中で探し始めるようになりました。
Twenty-three years ago, I started MRi with a focus on anti-aging and wellness research.
At that time, I was studying Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy and searching for answers to one simple question: How do we maintain quality of life as we grow older?
I had watched both of my parents struggle with serious illness, and I began searching around the world for approaches that focused not on treating disease, but on prevention, wellness, and healthy aging.
その旅の中で、私はDr. Neal Rouzierに出会いました。
彼は、ナチュラル・バイオアイデンティカルホルモン療法における世界的な第一人者です。
彼のアプローチは、エイジングや予防医学に対する私の考え方を大きく変えました。
病気になってから治療する医療ではなく、病気を防ぐために取り組む医療。その考え方が、私の視点を完全に変えてくれたのです。
That journey eventually led me to Dr. Neal Rouzier, who is the world’s leading expert in Natural Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. His approach completely changed how I viewed aging and preventative medicine. Instead of medicine for curing disease, we treat for preventing disease.
同じ頃、私はもうひとりの素晴らしい先駆者、Jane Iredaleに紹介されました。
私はすぐに、メイクアップは単なる化粧品以上のものになり得るのだと理解しました。
わずか数分で、人の自信を取り戻し、人生の困難な時でさえ、自分を美しく感じる手助けをしてくれるもの。
私にとって、それもまたアンチエイジングとウェルネスの一部となりました。
そして何年か後、リバイタラッシュもまた自然な流れで、その同じ哲学の一部となったのです。
Around the same time, I was introduced to another extraordinary pioneer — Jane Iredale.
I immediately understood that makeup could be more than cosmetics. In just minutes, it could restore confidence and help someone feel beautiful during difficult moments in life. To me, that also became part of anti-aging and wellness.
And years later, RevitaLash naturally became part of that same philosophy.
この23年間、MRiは進化し続けてきました。
私は、ホルモン療法、スキンケアサイエンス、DNAリペア技術、ウェルネス、そして予防的な健康への取り組みなど、さまざまな分野を学んできました。
そして2024年、長年の研究を経て、トピックスファーマシューティカルズと共に、私自身のブランド「ninoBEAUTY by Rikki L.」を立ち上げました。
Over the past 23 years, MRi has continued to evolve. I have studied hormone therapy, skincare science, DNA repair technology, wellness, and preventative health. And in 2024, after many years of research, I launched my own brand, ninoBEAUTY by Rikki L., together with Topix Pharmaceuticals.
けれど、これほど長い年月を経た今でも、私の核となる信念はとてもシンプルです。
私は、QOL（クオリティ・オブ・ライフ）は、年齢を重ねても守ることのできる最も大きなギフトのひとつだと信じています。
そして、美しさは決して表面的なものではないと信じています。
But even after all these years, my core belief remains very simple:
I believe quality of life is one of the greatest gifts we can protect as we age.
And I believe beauty is not superficial.
Beauty gives people confidence.美しさは、人に自信を与えます。
Confidence gives people energy.自信は、人にエネルギーを与えます。
And energy gives people life.そしてエネルギーは、人に命を与えます。
今回お祝いしているのは、リバイタラッシュの20周年、あるいはMRiの23周年だけではありません。
この歩みを支えてくださった皆様全員への感謝です。
ドクターの皆様、リテーラーの皆様、メディア関係者の皆様、インフルエンサーの皆様、長くご愛顧くださっているお客様、そして新しく出会ってくださったお客様。
皆様がいてくださったからこそ、私たちはここまで歩んでくることができました。
私は決して、ひとりでここまで来ることはできませんでした。
This anniversary is not only a celebration of 20 years of RevitaLash or 23 years of MRi.
It is also a celebration of everyone who has supported this journey — our doctors, retailers, members of the press, influencers, customers, friends, and dedicated staff.
I truly could not have come this far without all of you.
そして、ここでとても大切なことをお伝えしたいと思います。
どのような会社であっても、たったひとりの力で23年間続くことはありません。
MRiが存在しているのは、長年にわたり私を支えてくれた素晴らしい人たちのおかげです。
私のスタッフたちは、嬉しい時も、大変な時も、私のそばにいてくれました。
最近アメリカに滞在したことで、日本でこれほど忠実で思いやりのあるチームを築いてこられたことが、どれほど幸運なことなのか、改めて強く実感しました。
スタッフは私を守り、支え、信じられないほど一生懸命に働き、物事が決して簡単ではない時でさえ、私のビジョンを信じ続けてくれました。
これまでのスタッフ、そして現在のスタッフ全員に、心の底から感謝しています。
私たちが共に成し遂げてきたすべてのことは、チームとして築き上げてきたものです。
There is one more thought I would like to share with you.
No company reaches its 23rd anniversary because of one person alone.
MRi exists because of the extraordinary people who have supported me throughout the years — my staff, many of whom have stood beside me through both joyful and challenging times.
My recent visit to the United States reminded me once again how fortunate I am to have such a loyal, caring, and dedicated team here in Japan.
They continue to support me, protect me, work incredibly hard, and believe in my vision even during difficult times.
To every member of my team, past and present, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Everything we have accomplished has been achieved together.
長くご愛顧くださっているお客様、そして新しく出会ってくださったお客様。
私たちを信じ、支え、長い年月を共に成長してくださったすべての皆様に、心より感謝申し上げます。
これからも皆様に、信頼し、心から良いと思っていただける製品をお届けできるよう、歩み続けてまいります。
